BAD BSNL

Arindam: - Hello viewers! Today, we are going to start the first episode of our special program “JAGRATA JANATA” on Royal Bengal Tiger (RBT) TV Channel. Can you guess where we are? Well, we are in Joka-Thakurpukur area of Kolkata in West Bengal. As per recent online polling in our website, we have found out that around 68.23% of the BSNL subscribers of India are dissatisfied with their services. Of course, it has to be, because the brand ambassador of BSNL is Deepika Padukone, the ugliest looking heroine of Bollywood, who don’t have any dressing sense at all. Jaisa company, waisa uska brand ambassador. Anyway, let us now come to the issues in this Joka area. This is the man, whose name is Chandrasekhar. He resides in the Diamond Park area of Thakurpukur. He is a subscriber of BSNL telephone connection under JOKA BSNL Branch since 2005. According to him, the service of BSNL is going from bad to worse. Come on; let us hear from his mouth, why he is planning to complain about BSNL service to the Telecom Ministry of India. Mr. Chandrasekhar, why are you so frustrated and unhappy about the BSNL service?

Chandrasekhar: - What to say, Sir? BSNL humhrey naak mein dum kar rakha hain. They have no proper mechanism for charging bills for their telephone connections. Last month only, my telephone bill was 1673 bucks, whereas, for the entire month, I and my family members were in Allahabad to celebrate the Mahakumbh and Holi festival. No one was there in my house in the last month. But, look at the bill. The Ghosts have made the call or what? I even visited the Joka branch of BSNL. They are unable to provide me any reason for that. They are saying that someone may have tapped my BSNL telephone connection from outside and made those calls. Now, where is the security of my telephone connection?

Arindam: - Why you have not locked your telephone connection before going to attend the Mahakumbh mela?

Chandrasekhar: - BSNL people never told me, how to lock the local, STD and ISD connections. Had they told me about the locking mechanism of my telephone connection, no one would have tapped my connection and made the call.

Arindam: - This is a fishy situation. Maybe, your neighbors may have done the trick. Accha, what about the broadband connection? You have also complained that they have charged you with false broadband bills.

Chandrasekhar: - Yes, they are charging around 5081 bucks for Internet broadband usage since 2005. But, the irony is that I have taken broadband connection in November 2008 only. I have all the bills, where I have paid all the payments for broadband connection since 2008. But, I am really stunned to know that they want 5081 bucks for the broadband connection, which I never had before 2008.

Arindam: - You are bang on target. Not only you. BSNL has sent fake broadband bills to many of its subscribers, who have never ever used BSNL broadband connections. After sending those fake broadband bills to them, they are sending another letter known as ‘Samadhan Scheme’, where they are forcing the subscribers to pay that money of their fake broadband bills within a year; otherwise, they will cut the BSNL telephone connections. The recent survey shows that BSNL has lost around 18.74% of its existing customer base in 2009 itself. Who knows, maybe, BSNL will be totally wiped out from the market, like its brand ambassador is getting whipped out from the Bollywood itself, he he he…

Chandrasekhar: - Moreover, BSNL is cheating in the name of recruitment examinations. In September 2009, they demanded 1500 bucks for the examination of recruitment of Management Trainees. Now, it is March 2010, my daughter is yet to get any response regarding that recruitment test. They are also not refunding those 1500 bucks. BSNL should change its name as “TELECOM NO. 420”.

Arindam: - Well, viewers, we will end our show here. Try to stay away from the cheating services of “BAD BSNL”. Good bye.
